ECC Goes to Utah!

ECC has been invited to sing in the St. George Children’s Choir Festival March 3-4, 2023! We will be participating in a combined ensemble with 3 other choir programs, as well as doing our own music for a choir workshop. All of our Company members are welcome to participate in this event, whether or not they participate in Seussical. New members who participate in Seussical will also be invited to join us.

Our plan is to depart on Thursday, March 2 and return Sunday, March 5. We have found an AirBnB that sleeps up to 28 people, so that we can all stay and eat meals together. We will be booking air travel with Southwest for the group (flying to Las Vegas or St. George and driving via van to our AirBnB). At this point, we are estimating the cost per traveler will be around $700:

• Lodging: $150 (based on 16 travelers; more travelers would decrease this amount)
• Transportation: $500 (would include airfare & rental of 2 vans to transport kids)
• Food: $40

We want to include every student who wants to join us, so we will do our best to lower that cost. We will have fundraising opportunities, and we will work to provide scholarships where needed.
